You have $1M trapped inside your head...

Everyone is an expert at something.

Step #1 Dial in what that niche is, who it is that wants to learn from you, and finally what platforms to reach them.
Step #2 Design a marketing strategy to reach that target audience and find out what they want and how they want it.
Step #3 Build a course, group coaching, or mentorship program based on what your audience is telling you they want.

3 Methods to Engage Self-Paced Students

2 Approaches to Nail Your Sales Page

1 Reason to Segment Your Audience

We have baby foxes living in the neighborhood. In the evening, they come out from their den and let out  soft, high-pitched yips like tiny toy dogs.

Why did the fox get a promotion? Because he was outstanding in his field 😂🙃

Three Methods to Engage Self-Paced Students

You could say to your students, "here's the course, have fun. Later!" but that is exactly what leads to the national standard of less than 20% of them finishing your program.

To increase engagement, your involvement is key. Try out some of these options for interaction. Each option can be automated.

#1 Throw in a quiz for each chapter and show them how much they've learned. Or, ask them to provide long-form answers or describe their progress (self-assessment) before moving to the next module

#2 Collect feedback so you can learn what's work and what's not working

#3 Award prizes to students based on progression

Two Approaches to Nail Your Sales Page

Your audience should be somewhat sold by the time they reach the sales page because of your email sequences, weekly content, and social posts.

The sales page is about providing additional details to those that aren’t yet convinced.

When writing the sales page, your goal is to address where your audience is at currently so they can self-identify themselves on the page.

Does your sales page do this?

Show your reader the possibility of what can happen when they complete your program. Show them that it's possible for them specifically by adding testimonials of people who have been in their situation before and have made it to the other side (so they believe they can do it too).

Provide enough detail of the offer that it’s actually tangible for them. You may have heard, “sell the movie night, not the couch”. You're not selling an online program, you're selling the outcome.

The most prominent theme of the page is the transformation your reader is going to receive by joining the program.

There are two approaches to a sales page...

#1 Logical Approach: numbers, features, hard facts

#2 Emotional Approach: “here are the bad things that can happen if you don’t  solve your problem” – the hell and heaven + future pacing

One Reason to Segment Your Audience

You may or may not be aware that you actually have two distinct audiences.

Your program takes your audience from Point A to Point B.

There are likely other milestones that need to be achieved prior to arriving at Point A (the point at which they're ready to begin your program).

Understanding that you have two audience groups, the ones at point A and the ones not quite at point A, could cause you to consider sending out two different email sequences to bring folks into your program.

Each sequence brings them to Point A (the point at which they're ready to begin your program), but with different messaging.

Make sense?

What action are you going to take today based on this concept?
