How do I price my online course?
There is no chart available to look at and determine at what rate should you charge for your course.
It's very subjective. The price of your course is what a potential student is ready, willing and able to pay as well as your ability to show potential students the transformation they're going to gain from taking your course.
Online courses that offer income producing results are often the highest priced. At the end of the course, the student will be able to successfully run an income producing business. That doesn't mean, however, that if your course offers hobby skills, you won't be successful.
Courses that niche, rather than broad audiences, are likely to be more profitable. For example, if you were needing counseling for your marriage, you would go to a marriage counselor. You would not go to a general counselor that offers help in all aspects of life. You would prefer a specialist for your particular situation. The same goes for a course topic. The more niche, the more likely you are to attract the ideal student.
It's not unusual to start off by offering your course at a low price of $49 with the purposes of gaining testimonials to use in your marketing efforts. The downside of offering your course for such a low price is that the less invested a student is in the course, the less likely they are to complete it.
Now the question again, how much should you price your course? That will come down to your income budget goal (number of leads needed to make your goal income divided by cost of your course) and how much your students are willing to pay. It's all about testing.
