The 4 Types of Product in an Ascension Model
An ascension model is a suite of related products that moves your customer from beginner to advanced.
For example, they would consume your freebie and implement the ideas in it. Next, they purchase a template offering. After success with the template, they may take your online course at their own self-pace. Finally, they would join your private coaching offer.
Your customer would not likely go from barely knowing you to paying high dollar and jumping into private coaching. They would work up, gaining knowledge to become at a level where they would need your advanced coaching skills.
Your goal is to come up with an offering in each of the ascension model categories that would help your customer move up the triangle.
Offering just a single product, you're only capturing a small portion of people who are looking for a solution to their problem. Some people don’t want the cheap version, they want more support, while others will only want the $99 version of your offers.
Ascension model is truly just a fancy word for offering to help people solve the same problem at various price points.
